Peach Pit Tonite at Dahlak!

whew- it's already the 10th of December- time flies when you're mixing beats.  Here's a preview of some awesome parties going on this weekend:

TONITE (THURSDAY): Peach Pit is back for it's 3rd party at Dahlak (1771 U Street NW)

Matt Bailer and Robert Bozick (two of my favs) will throw down some hot tunes exclusively from the 1990s.  Weird to think we're just about to end the next decade, the 2000s (is that what we're calling it?)

If you've never been, Peach Pit is a really fun and intimate affair: awesome throw backs, awesome dance moves, and awesome people.

Definitely check this party out!

Tonight is the premier of Peach Pit- an all 90's dance party w/ Robert Bozick and Matt Bailer- 2 of my favorite DC DJs!

It's at Dahlak (across from Duplex Diner, home of Aural Pleasure, 18th and U).  Be there or be square.

Not trying to compete, but I'll also be playing some jams over at the Diner (DUPLEX DINER), but I'll be floating back and forth I'm sure.  See you tonite!

Aural Pleasure was RIDIC!

Thank you all so much who came out to the premier of Aural Pleasure last night. I had an absolute blast. Gay Hip Hop night- fun stuff. I'll do a whole recap/set list thing tomorrow- but I'm on the run. But if you haven't seen this article about local DC DJs doing a campaign about respecting your DJ- it's a good one/pretty funny!

announcing aural pleasure- the next best party in dc

you may have heard some grumblings via my facebook wall and an article about me in the washington blade (here's the link if you missed it!), but i am starting a new monthly dance party at dahlak called "aural pleasure." i'm going to play a mix of electronica, r&b, and hip hop. it will be dance-tastic though and something different.

The party starts on July 17th- a Friday night at Dahlak (across from Duplex Diner, old Mixtape location). Come check it out around 9:30PM and RSVP on Facebook.
