WET & WILD @EFN_Lounge this Wednesday!

I'm very excited to be making my EFN Lounge debut this Wednesday for the Wet AND Wild Party!  

Kim Zolciak (Real Housewives of Atlanta) was there last week, so it will be a very tough act to follow- but you still can't beat a good old fashioned wet underwear contest and fun music, right?  I'm up for the challenge.

first heard this song on Wale's Back to the Future Mixtape, and it was probably one of my favorite tracks on that tape- i'll get to Wale's new album attention deficit soon, but had to post the video for the best go-go band out there

Chromeo on Nickelodeon's Yo Gabba Gabba!

this is so awesome- one of my favorite bands of all time spent some time on Yo Gabba Gabba! to talk to kids about washing your hands. I think this means they've conquered all demographics now.

Kenya's Just a Band

house is everywhere- just heard this great track called "Usinibore" by Kenya's Just a Band- great Daft Punk sample, which is hard to do since DP is all samples themselves.

apparently Nairobi has a thriving funk scene?! who knew

this is probably one of the best house/funk/disco tracks i've heard that wasn't from Australia in a long time.

medina- you and i // kun for mig

i first heard Medina's "you and i" when deadmau5 remixed it, and it was one of those songs that just kinda floated in my iphone- but it's come up a few times in the shuffle and i totally dig it-

i didn't know too much about Medina before- but she's this 25 y/o Danish girl with what i'd call a poppy/r&b voice combined with european club sounds.

apparently "you and i"- or as the Danes know it, "Kun for Mig" has reached Poker Face viral levels in the streets of Copenhagen. I wouldn't be surprised if it did the same in the US- I think she's one of those chicks the gays will just love.  Plus they'll probably enjoy the very yummy male model in this video- check it out!
