WADDUP WEDNESDAY

People in DC are such babies- the weather has to be pristine in order for them to go out.  As a DJ/party thrower- this can be very frustrating.  There are sooo many good parties going on Friday and Saturday, and I hope people grow a pair and show up.

If you're not one of those people, then Wednesday and Thursday have turned into this weeks Friday and Saturday.

Here's one of my favorite Wednesday parties that I think you should definitely check out.  My hommie Lil' El DJs at Science Club every Wednesday and invites a guest DJ along- this week Doc Rok is up.  Happy Hour allll night long- check it out!  AND a throw in an mp3 at the end

wad up wknd

DJ Natty Boom and the TNG gang are back at it for the 2nd Homo/Sonic in 1 month- WHOA!

"January is an exciting month for fans of The New Gay, good music and meeting cool people. Our last Homo/Sonic queer dance party went so well that we're getting another one in the same month. Come join regular DJs Zack and Michael, and special returning guest Natty Boom (of the Anthology of Booty) for a night of ass-shaking, booby swinging, dick-like-a-helicopter dancing to indie, electro, retro, disco, booty pop and beyond.  As usual our parties are coed, trans-inclusive and straight friendly.  See you there!  All ages $10"

Have to give my home-girl Lil' El a big shout out for scoring an opening DJ set for Amanda Blank!  I'm unfortunately DJ'ing a bday party that night, but congrats and good luck!

DJ MAJR is back at it this Saturday w/ Shift at Cobalt.  Check out and download his teaser mix for this month's Shift HERE!

our weekend starts on wednesday: happy bday @lilel!

I love Wednesday nite shenanigans!  Luckily there's plenty to go around tomorrow

My homie Lil' El will be celebrating her birthday this Wednesday at her weekly party Ill Element @ The Science Club... but with a twist.  She's having an open DJ booth! RIDICULOUS!  I'll be having a short set  along with some of DC's best.  Stop by and enjoy some great vegetarian food and drinks in the process.

This is definitely one of my favorite new parties in DC, and I had one of the best times DJing it last month.  My Maison sidekick Shea Van Horn joins Ryan Duncan and Bradley Portnoy in DJing this month's Zak Efron inspired party at the amazing Wonderland Ballroom.
